Developing assurances in asbestos removal processes

Countrywide Environmental are delighted to be able to announce the successful upgrade from OHSAS18001 to ISO45001:18 standards in respect of safety best practice. At the same time, our quality management proceses (ISO9001:15) and environmental management procedures (ISO14001:15) have been re-certificated. This forms part of our integrated management system for asbestos removal.

The scope of the Integrated Management System is ‘Provision of asbestos removal services.’ The certification is valid until 2023.

Over and above this, we subscribe to our trade association’s external auditing scheme, which welcomes unanounced visits from their team. The scheme has increased the number of audits from two to three per year. Participation helps us to measure and monitor our performance on site.
